Li Jhuin's 4W Party

Wow, it has been more than a week after this party and I guess I was just too busy enjoying my PS2 (Warriors Orochi 2). You all must be wondering what exactly is 4W, right? It stands for What's Wrong With [A] Wet Party? I'm just giving this party a wacky title since it doesn't have one. It wasn't all wet actually because it's supposed to be a BBQ Party. But since it was held beside the pool (which is much more fun than the fire), I shall name it as such.

On the last day of our mid-term exams, Jhuin, Yee Von, Kar Mun, Tien Jiun and me went for lunch in Red Box. It was more like lunch than KTV-ing as we only sang for two hours, which was during the lunch hour. After that soup-tasting session (we drank many bowls of soup there), we went to Jhuin's house to make preparations for her birthday party which we all had longed since a month ago. Her dad brought us to Ikano Power Centre / IKEA near her house to buy all the equipments for barbeque.

One thing we were worried was the weather as it was either raining or cloudy the whole afternoon there. We prepared tuna sandwiches in her multi-purpose condo (an office and home to her family, but a playground to us). Look how amateurish we are below. Oh, and there's a big pile of sausages and chicken wings each on the table too.

Look's like our request of a clear night had been fulfilled and we were more than glad that night. To express our gratitude and contentment, we jumped into the swimming pool and enjoy the jacuzzi without waiting for the other guests to arrive at 6.30pm.

Next thing we knew is that Tien Jiun and Li Jhuin's dad had been preparing the fire for the BBQ. Everybody arrived late due to the relentless traffic around Klang Valley since that night was the time when everybody "balik kampung" for the Raya festival after their working hours. Shan Lung and Shu Wen were the first to arrive, followed by Sharon shortly.

Not long later, Rachel and her enthusiastic boyfriend, Gary Heng arrived at the scene of craze. They brought along their nuggets and the most important thing of the night, which is the camera phone. Without it, we would not have so many videos of memories. I guess the what's most essential isn't the phone as she brings it everywhere, but her instincts to snap the videos when our party reached the climax. Thank you, Rachel & Gary.

The next guest to arrive was Brian, who kept complaining about his aching leg, and how he got stuck in his manual car which was stuck in the immovable jam.

Nicole came after Brian and she just joined in the crowd who were having lots of fun by then. Christy and Ken was next to arrive, which was about 9.00pm. Christy brought her self-made chocolate cupcakes, which added on to the pizza, fried mee hoon and "kuai ling gou" by Li Jhuin's relatives.

As usual, TJ was the last to arrive. This time, he brought his lovely girlfriend, Cassandra to the night party. Finally, the pitiful Wei Qi was caught in an accident and failed to join us. Don worry though, we will have many more parties to come.

Is it over after the cake ceremony? Of course not. The best part has just begun

Sadly, two more victims who include Sharon and Brian were not recorded unfortunately. Sharon was pulled into the pool whereas Brian was pushed into it. I still remember Sharon's slipper was floating away into the inner part of the pool and Brian, who fell in right after her, rescued her slipper and brought it back to its rightful owner.

One thing was proven here: a girl experiencing menstruation can still dip into the water without anything wrong happening, guess we all know who the scientist was. Hint: The person who betrayed her, Christy did not fall into the pool.

All in all, the last ones standing are Christy, Tien Jiun, Kar Mun (overprotected by her boyfriend), Nicole, Rachel and Gary (these two do not deserve to fall into the always-be-remembered pool since they have contributed in snapping videos).

By the way, this reminded me of the Super Trio Supreme that I have watched on Saturday. They played it in Sabah and the games were similar to what we have experienced. Maybe you all can watch it through any video websites because those games were much more hillarious than this. One of the games is when they stood on floats and pushed each other down into the water. Another one was like racing on the floats by doing many stunts too.

I guess now you understand what took me so long in blogging this post. But to be honest, I was spending most of my time enjoying Warriors Orochi 2 during the Raya break, haha.
